Random thoughts

Last night I had a scare from my mom. My sister, Kacie, called at about 8:30 to tell me that my mom fell and had to be taken to the hospital via ambulance. Well of course since my mom is super stubborn I figured it must be really bad. Kacie said that mom fell and hit her head on the china cabinet. Of course my first thought was that she had a stroke b/c Kacie said that mom's BP was up and she couldn't move. So Walter and I rush to Spartanburg. I made it there in 1:10 minutes. Super fast!! I am glad to report that it was not serious. Mom was at the hospital until 2 am and was never seen. So she and Kacie left. Mom went to her PCP today and he said that her nose wasn't broken, but she does have a little bump on her forehead. I am so glad that is all. I was so worried that she had broken a hip or worse.
Walter and I got home at around 1 am. And I had to be at work at 7...ish. A very tiring day, but atleast we were busy. Makes the day go by super quick. Came home tonight with still a lot of energy. I cooked dinner, washed 4 loads of laundry, 2 loads of dishes, and then did a Wii workout. That was a lot of fun. I'm hoping that this stinkin' Wii will take me off of my plateau. I've lost a total of 36 pounds (it was 39, but then the holidays came), but that's been in a 2 yr span. I'm tired of being almost a certain size...but not quite. I know, I know. Lose it slow and it will stay off. But I do need to try harder. So I'm hoping that a little exercise in the program will help.
I'm getting super excited b/c in 23 days me and 5 of my girlfriends are headed to Vegas for the weekend. I am really looking forward to it. It's going to be a lot of fun!!
Oh, well. I guess that I didn't have as many random thoughts as I originally figured. Love to all!!
